(mylbsonline.com/Liberia/Nov.21/2013) Gbarpolu County Senator, Theodore Momo, says if National Economic Security is not obtained, the situations that sparked up the civil war will continue haunting Liberia.

According to Senator Momo, if national economic security is not tackled adequately, it would breed political instability and undermine National Security.

He said: “Anyone not economically empowered, is vulnerable to clandestine activities.”

The Gbarpolu Lawmaker made the assertion over the weekend when he served as Keynote Speaker at the graduation of about 150-women in Business Development Skills and Adult Literacy Training Program in Gbarpolu County.

He urged the graduates to utilize the skills acquired to assist their families and communities.

Senator Momo then commended EDUCARE and other partners for assisting the women to acquire skills to help economically empower them.
