(mylbsonline.com/Liberia/Nov. 22/2013) The Management of the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS) has begun the donation of digital decoders to government ministries and agencies in Monrovia.

According to LBS Director General, Darryl Ambrose Nmah, the donation of the digital decoders is intended to carry the national station into the various ministries and agencies.

Ministries and agencies visited Wednesday, November 20, 2013 included the Ministries of Youth and Sports, Health and Social Welfare, Justice, Labor, Gender and Development, and the National Social Security and Welfare Corporation.

Mr. Nmah said: “The launch of the 10-Kilowatt Television Transmitter will give a new look to television across Liberia.”

“The tour of these government institutions was also aimed at seeking more support to fill the deficit gap LBS is being faced with,” he further noted.

The LBS Director General added: “The fund raising campaign is intended to increase the television content, purchase fuel and other logistics, and to keep the station running.”

Mr. Nmah then thanked heads of institutions visited for their continued support to LBS.
