(mylbsonline.com/Liberia/Nov.21,2013) The University of Liberia (UL) Faculty Association has resolved to disengage all UL Campus activities until their grievances are addressed.

The UL Faculty Association said: “We will lay down our chalks until issues affecting us are adequately addressed.”

The Association’s President, Clifford Young, Sr., told a news conference Wednesday November 20, 2013  in Monrovia that issues of salary adjustment, poor working conditions, pressing concerns of students and support staff , among others, must be adequately addressed before returning to classes.

Mr. Young said: “The decision to lay down our chalks was reached Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at a mass meeting of members of the association at the main campus of the University.”
