Prez. Sirleaf returns home from South Africa

mylbsonline.com/Liberia/Dec. 16/ 2013) President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf and delegation have returned to Liberia from South Africa.
President Johnson-Sirleaf and delegation were in South Africa attending the Memorial Service of World Icon, Nelson Mandela.
Mr. Mandela, affectionately called “Madiba”, died December 5, 2013 at his residence in the South African Capital, Johannesburg.
The anti-apartheid advocate was sentenced to prison for 27 unbroken years, and following his release from prison, Mr. Mandela became the first black President of South Africa.
The Liberian Leader was among several world leaders attending the late South African Leader’s memorial activities in Pretoria.
Former Liberian Interim President, Dr. Amos Sawyer, formed part of President Johnson-Sirleaf’s delegation widely acclaimed funeral of Mr. Mandela.
Madiba’s body is expected to be buried Sunday, December 15, 2013 in his home town of Qunu.
