(, Sept. 10, 2014)-A medical charity, “Medicine sans Frontiers” (MSF), is calling on international organizations to assist in caring for the influx of Ebola patients in Liberia.

According to MSF Emergency Coordinator, Laurence Sailly, the entity’s call was necessary, because its treatment center has reached full capacity.

MSF has ruled out accepting additional patients at its Ebola treatment unit in Paynesville, due to limited space.
Mr. Sailly made the call at a news conference Tuesday, September 9, 2014 in Monrovia.

Mr. Sailly said: “The 100-bed center was filled.”
The MSF Emergency Coordinator’s statement comes in the wake of the influx of suspected Ebola patients at various treatment centers in the country.

“We have treated nearly 500 patients, and 51 out of this number have recovered since August 18.”
