(elbcradio.com/Liberia/Oct. 21, 2014)-President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has challenged Liberians to put aside their differences and forged ahead, if the country must overcome the Ebola Virus.

According to President Johnson-Sirleaf, the virus continues to tear down the Liberian economy since its outbreak.

The Ebola Task Force Chair said: “The Ebola Virus requires collaboration and commitment, considering its negative impact on the entire nation and the sub-region.”

She called on fellow Liberians to desist from too much talking and begin galvanizing their resources and energies to fight the deadly virus.

“Liberia may not easily re-start the development programs being stalled by the virus unless it was defeated through collaboration and commitment,” the Liberian Leader also said.

President Johnson-Sirleaf’s statement was contained in a recorded audio, played in Monrovia Monday, October 20, 2014 at the Information Ministry’s Ebola Up-Date Program.
