(elbcradio.com/Liberia/Nov. 17, 2014)-A seasoned Liberian journalist, Ledgerhood Rennie, has been appointed Director-General of the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS).

Mr. Rennie was appointed by President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf to the top LBS post, along with two other individuals as Deputy Directors-General.

Those appointed as Deputy Directors-General are the former Deputy Director-General for Rural Broadcasting, Patrick Honnah, who now goes to the post of Deputy Director-General for Media Services, replacing Mr. Ledgerhood Rennie.

Former Deputy Presidential Press Secretary, Christopher Sellee, now goes to the position of Deputy Director-General for Rural Broadcasting, replacing Mr. Honnah.

The three LBS executives’ appointments come amidst several other appointments in government as announced by the Liberian Leader Sunday, November 16, 2014 in Monrovia.

The new LBS Director-General and his two newly appointed deputies come to their new positions with wealth of professional experience and education.
