(elbcradio.com/Liberia/Dec. 8, 2014)-The Director General of the Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS), Ledgerhood Rennie, has assured good working relationship between Management and Employees.

Director General Rennie said: “I will not condone gossips at LBS.”

He said: “My administration will work along with the Workers Union to engender a broad-based decision-making process.”

Mr Rennie gave the assurance Monday, December 8, 2014 when he officially took over the mantle of authority of the entity from former Director General, Daryl Ambrose Nmah.

He also renewed plea for government to increase support to LBS, but said: “I will try to do my best under the given circumstances.”

“My administration will continue with the five-year Strategic Plan, developed under the Nmah-led administration, to transform the Liberia Broadcasting System.”

During his turning over statement, former LBS Director-General, Daryl Ambrose Nmah, lauded President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf for the opportunity afforded him to serve.
Mr. Nmah said: “I did what I could in my power to transform LBS. I never regretted any decision I made during my tenure.”

“Though there were challenges, the passion and reliance of the workers to duty made LBS to have won a number of awards and elevated my leadership,” he said.

Mr. Nmah, however, thanked his colleagues and the LBS workforce for the level of cooperation he received from them.
