President Johnson-Sirleaf said: “A peaceful election process, where Liberians can vote their choices freely and accept the results will prove to the world that the country’s democracy is maturing.”

The Liberian Leader spoke a day before pooling begun in her home town Fefeh Town, Bomi County, where she had gone to cast her vote.

More than 1000 voters took part in the process to elect 15 new Senators across the country.
