(elbcradio.com/Liberia/Dec. 29, 2014)-Grand Gedeh County Health Team has spoken of an increase in the number of patients at various health centers in the county.

Grand Gedeh County Medical Administrator, Eugenia Huntington, said: “The increase is due to the rapid decline in the number of Ebola cases.”

Madam Huntington made the statement over the week-end when she spoke to the Liberia News Agency (LINA) in Zwedru, the provincial capital of the county.

She said: “The increase in the number of patients at public health facilities shows the renewed confidence the citizens of Grand Gedeh have in Liberia’s health care delivery system.”

Madam Huntington, however, thanked the Government and partners for providing an ambulance and two pick-ups for use by the Grand Gedeh County Health Team in the Ebola fight.

Grand Gedeh County is among few of Liberia’s sub-political divisions not seriously affected by the outbreak of the epidemic.
