(elbctaadio.com/Liberia/ Jan. 9, 2015)-River Gee County Senator- elect, Conmany Wesseh, says the provision of quality education for River Gee citizens will top his agenda.

Ambassador Wesseh said unlike the physical development aspect of the county, education was vital for the youthful population of River Gee County and the society at large.

He said: “Though development forms an integral component of nation-building, the high illiteracy rate in Liberia is one of the major obstacles confronting the growth of the nation.”

Ambassador Wesseh spoke Wednesday, January 7, 2015 when he appeared on the interactive ELBC Super Morning SHOW  (www.facebook.com/pages/ELBC-SUPER-Morning Show ).

“If young people are educated, they will have the requisite skills of becoming good engineers, technicians and doctors to contribute to the development of their country,” Ambassador Wesseh stressed.

The River Gee County Senator- elect has spoken of plans to lobby with his colleagues at the National Legislature in pursuit of opportunities to improve the living standards of his people.
