(elbcradio.com/Liberia/Jan. 16, 2015)-Vice President (VP), Joseph Boakai, says the 72 bills, still in committee rooms by the 3rd Session of the National Legislature, are huge challenges to the incoming members.

Vice President Boakai named some of the legislations as land right, the National Youth Act of 2013 and the proposed Pension Bill, among others.

He called on members of the National Legislature to ensure the enactment of the bills in the interest of Liberia.

The Liberian Vice President also urged members of the National Legislature to see the voters’ decision in the 2014 Special Senatorial Election as a clear message that they want the law makers to push a legislative agenda in their interest.

Vice President Boakai spoke Monday, January 12, 2014 during the resumption of the 4th Session of the National Legislature at the Capitol in Monrovia.
