Cabinet Retreat gets underway in Bomi County

(elbcradio.com/Liberia/ Jan. 20, 2015)- A two-day Cabinet Retreat is taking place in Julijuah Town, Bomi County.

Presidential Press Secretary, Jerelimick Piah, said: “The Retreat will primarily focus on the top priorities of President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf.”

“During the Retreat, Cabinet Ministers are expected to make presentations on the status of the economy, roads, energy program, education, infrastructure development plan, among others, “Mr. Piah said.

He said the retreat will also highlight youth development as part of Government’s top priority.

The Cabinet Retreat was a forum designed for public officials under the Leadership of President Ellen Johnson during her first term to assess Government’s progress.

It is a forum where important national derisions are derived and implemented for the effective governance of the country.

It is also being held on a rotational basis nation-wide at the discretion of the President.
