(elbcradio.com/Liberia/Feb. 13, 2015)-President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, on behalf of the Liberian Government and people, has sent a condolence message to the Government and people of Egypt.

The condolence message follows the unfortunate news of a stampede that left 20 people dead.

The stampede was carried out at Egypt’s National Stadium during a recent soccer game in that North African country.

In her message to Egyptian President, Abdel Fatta Al-Sisi, President Johnson-Sirleaf extended heartfelt condolences to the Egyptian Government and people for the irreparable loss sustained.

The Liberian Leader comforted, especially, the bereaved families for the loss of their love ones’ lives in the stampede.

President Johnson-Sirleaf then prayed that Allah will grant President Al-Sisi and the Egyptian people‘s strength, courage and fortitude as they go through their period of National Mourning.
