(elbcradio.com/Liberia/Feb. 13, 2015)-A whistle blower in Liberia, Michael Allison, has been found dead in Monrovia.

Cllr. Allison’s dead body was found Friday morning, February 13, 2015       floating in the Atlantic Ocean, behind the Royal Air Maroc in the Monrovia suburb of Sinkor.

He was the lawyer who blew the whistle that sparked the ongoing investigation by the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) involving two members of the Liberian Parliament.

The two lawmakers at the center of the LACC’s investigation include the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Alex Tyler, and Montserrado County Representative, Adolph Lawrence.

According to eyewitnesses, Cllr. Allison died as a result of drowning in the ocean. The reports said, prior to his death, he and an unidentified lady were seen strolling along the Atlantic Ocean beach Thursday evening.

Another eyewitness also told elbcradio.com that the former whistle blower “might” have already died before he was recovered from the rough water.

Cllr. Allison was the Managing Director of the BRICS Mano River Union Legal Consultant.

He was also the son of former Defense Minister, Gray D. Allison, killed during the foregone civil war by rebels while serving jail sentence at the defunct notorious military camp, Belle Yallah, in Gbarpolu County.
