Prez Sirleafs U.S. visit excites Amb. Sulunteh

(elbcradio.com/Feb. 26, 2015)-Liberian Ambassador to the United States of America, Jeremiah Sulunteh, has described as historic and unique, President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf’s visit to the US.

Ambassador Sulunteh said: “President Johnson-Sirleaf’s current visit is triggering excitements within the Liberian Communities in the United States.”

The Liberian envoy made the statement Wednesday, February 25, 2015 when he spoke to ELBC in the American Capital, Washington D.C.

He said President Johnson-Sirleaf was holding series of meetings with major investment groups to encourage them explore investment opportunities in Liberia.

Ambassador Sulunteh named Exxon Mobil and USAID, among others, as NGOs that the Liberian Leader is discussing with.

He further noted that all was set for the Liberian Leader’s meeting with U.S. President, Barack Obama.

“I, along with Finance and Development Planning Minister, Amara Konneh, were making arrangements for signing some grants for staff support,” the Liberian Ambassador added.
