In her nationwide address Wednesday, April 1, 2015, President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf congratulated the people of Nigeria for demonstrating maturity and responsible attitude during the election.

She wants African nations strive towards the maintenance of peace and the promotion of international cooperation.

In a related development, President Sirleaf said Liberia is on the path of nurturing its democracy for political maturity and foster effective governance process in the country.

The Liberian Leader said:” Liberia has begun the processes of deepening its democratic credentials with the ongoing Constitution Review Conference taking place in Gbarnga, Bong County.

“Liberians are poised to take another important step toward their quest to deepen the ongoing transformation of the country,” she said.
