Earthquake kills over 4,000 in Nepal

The United Nations says 4,310 people have been killed in Nepal by a horrific earthquake. 

The BBC quotes the UN as saying the 7.8 magnitude quake affected a total of 8-million people and 1.4-million of which are in need of food aid.

The massive incident occurred Saturday, April 25, 2015.
Nepal Home Ministry Spokesperson, Laxmi Prasad Dhaka, told the BBC Tuesday that almost 8,000 people have been injured.

Mr. Dhaka also said buildings in Kathmandu got destroyed and rural areas across the region severely affected.
