(elbcradio.com/Apr. 29, 2015)-The Liberian Government will replicate strategies and measures used in containing the Ebola virus to strengthen the health system in the country’s post-Ebola era.

The Head of the Incident Management System, Tolbert Nyenswah, gave the assurance Monday, April 27, 2015 at the launch of the Trace and Go (TAG) Health Strategy at the IMS Headquarters in Monrovia.

Minister Nyenswah said: “All strategies employed in containing the Ebola virus are key to strengthening Liberia’s post-Ebola healthcare system.”

He also said: “For Liberia to have a more responsive healthcare system, measures designed and instituted by the Health Ministry and partners, should not only be used for Ebola response, but for strengthening efforts to combat future disease outbreaks in the country.”

TAG is a health strategy designed, in collaboration with the Health Ministry, UNICEF and Ehealth, to enhance the fight against Ebola.
