Govt to give NHA US$4 m for housing programs

(elbcradio.com/May 1, 2015)-The Liberian Government has agreed to provide US$4-million to the National Housing Authority (NHA) to finance its housing programs.

NHA Managing Director, Samuel Wulu, said: “The funds will be released in phases, noting that the Government has already been provided US$1-million up front.”

Mr. Wulu said the National Social Security and Welfare Corporation (NSSWC) also gave US$1-million to facilitate the completion of the Browerville Housing project.

He said every house will contain water and sanitation facility, children play ground, among others.

Mr. Wulu spoke Friday, May 1, 2015 when he appeared on the ELBC Supper Morning Show.
