Clinton wants the world endorse Liberias Health Plan

(elbcradio.com/May 5, 2015)-Former US President, Bill Clinton, is urging the world to endorse Liberia’s National Health Plan.

Mr. Clinton said: “Addressing the workforce and other constraints in Liberia’s health sector is the surest way to prevent further pandemics from the country.”

He made the call at the Ebola Incident Management Offices in Sinkor, suburb of Monrovia, as part of activities remarking the Former US President’s current visit to Liberia.
Mr. Clinton also called on Liberians to celebrate Ebola survivals instead of stigmatizing them.

Also speaking, President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf thanked Mr. Clinton and his daughter for their solidarity visit to the Ebola Incident Management Offices.

President Johnson-Sirleaf said: “Your visit signifies support to the Liberian Government and people.”
The former US President and daughter are in Liberia on a two-day visit to the Liberian Leader.
