FALCONS forced Judiciary to a 1-1 draw

( 15, 2015)-LBS Falcons forced the Judiciary to a 1-1 draw in a friendly football match.

According to our reporter at the match, player Daddy Garyu opened the scoring in the 5th minute of the first half through a tap into the net, beating goalkeeper, Jacob Logan of FALCONS.

However, FALCONS fought back harder and levelled the score in the same half through player, Jimmie Wonyehu.
Earlier in Kickball encounter, the girls of FALCONS beat their Judiciary counterparts 10-2 home runs.

The games were played Thursday, May 14, 2015 at the Voker Mission Field in Paynesville.

The competitions were part of programs marking National Unification Day’s celebration throughout Liberia.

Speaking to Sports following the game, FALCONS’ coach said his team conceded the early goal, because of a floppy defence.

Coach Terry Dickson said the Judiciary had a better side, but FALCONS survived, because they went into the match with a game plan.

Judiciary Captain, Jallah Johnson, said their opponents were lucky to have got the equalizer against the better side.
He committed his team to continue holding friendly matches for4 improvement.

The kickball game was witnessed by top executives of FALCONS, led by LBS Director General, Ledgerhood Rennie, accompanied by all of the system’s deputies, among others.
Top members of the Judiciary, especially the Chief Justice and members of the Supreme Court’s Bench, were not at the game
