(elbcradio.com/May 18, 2015)-Presidential Press Secretary, Jerelimick Piah, has clarified that at no time President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf was denied entry into the residence of Dr. Mills Jones.

Mr. Piah described, as disrespect to the Liberian Presidency, such recent media reports.

He said: “It is unthinkable for the President to compromise her personal security and integrity to go under the cover of darkness and break into Dr. Jones’ residence as reported by the media.

Mr. Piah is warning all those behind such misinformation to desist and accord the Liberian Presidency its due respect.
The Presidential Press Secretary spoke over the weekend in Monrovia.

Mr. Piah said the Liberian Leader was encouraged to see Dr. Jones’ house in Greenville, Sinoe County upon seeing a sign board with inscription, “Welcome to Dr. Mills Jones’ residence.”

“The President’s move was based on her usual plea that government officials should help develop their counties of origin by building structures there,” Mr. Piah also noted.

He added: “Upon entry into Dr. Jones’ compound the Liberian Leader remained in her car and congratulated Dr. Jones for the decent residence.”

President Johnson-Sirleaf arrived at Dr. Jones’ compound at about 5pm, with the consent of the security guards there.
