President Pro-Temp Jallah said the Government has also agreed to utilize the county’s natural resources to pave the Gbarpolu Highway and create new alternative roads in other parts of the county.

The Pro-Temp made the statement Monday, June 8, 2015 at the official induction ceremony of the county’s leadership, appointed by President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf in Bopolu city.

Those inducted were Superintendent Armah Sarnor, Development Superintendent, Paul Kimba, and Assistant Superintendent for Fiscal Affairs, Marie Korpoah, among others.

Mr. Jallah, who is also Gbarpolu County Legislative Caucus Chairman, noted that the Government is also contemplating connecting the county to neighboring Grand Cape Mount, Lofa and Bomi Counties.

At the same time, the Gbarpolu County Senator then commended a local mining company, Belle Resource, for helping to recondition the Bopolu-Henry Town road and called on other concession companies operating in the county to assist in the county’s development drive.
