(elbcradio.com/June 12, 2015)-The National Tribal Governors Council has honored Montserrado County Representative, Saah Joseph, for his immense contributions to eradicating the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD) from Liberia.

Council President, Musu Thompson, described Representative Joseph as “a hero in the fight” against the Ebola disease, noting that he “risked his life and sacrificed his personal resources to ensure that Liberians were safe.”

Madam Thompson spoke recently at a certification ceremony held in the Joint Chambers of the National Legislature in Monrovia.

The National Tribal Governors Council President outlined the many contributions made by lawmaker Joseph during the outbreak of the Ebola epidemic in Liberia.

In response, Representative Joseph thanked the Governors for realizing his efforts, noting: “The honor should go to all Liberians for sacrificing their lives to save others.

He then lauded the National Tribal Governors Council for their farsightedness in recognizing Liberians who played major roles to save their countrymen’s lives during the health crisis.

The Montserrado County lawmaker urged other individuals and groups to emulate the fine example of the Council.
