(elbcradio.com/June 12, 2015)-The United Nations Police (UNPOL) Focal Person at the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), Jonas Jonsson, has donated four packs of drug test kits to the Agency.

Mr. Jonsson said the donation was his own way of contributing to efforts geared at restoring public confidence in personnel of the DEA.

According to a release, the four packs of drug test kits will be administered on personnel of the DEA to determine whether or not they are drug freed.

The donation was made Wednesday, June 10, 2015 when the DEA honored Mr. Jonsson for his many contributions to enhance the operations of the Agency.

The ceremony was held at the Drug Enforcement Agency’s Headquarters in Sinkor, Monrovia.

Receiving the drug test kits, DEA Director-General, Anthony Suoh, expressed gratitude for the donation, saying it will go a long way in restoring public confidence in the Agency.

The release quotes Director Suoh as having thanked Mr. Jonsson for the kind gesture and promised that the DEA will use the four drug test kits for their intended purpose.

During his confirmation hearing in 2012, Col. Suoh promised that personnel of the DEA will be tested for illicit drugs to regain the public’s confidence in the Agency’s integrity.
