(elbcradio.com/June 18, 2015)- Liberia’s former Ambassador to the United Nations, Nathaniel Barnes, wants tougher decisions taken by the Government to transform the country.

Mr.  Barnes said:” Unless policy-decisions are not taken lightly by Government, Liberians will continue to crying foul.”

“Liberia has had qualified leaders, but lacks the courage to take tougher decisions and remain steadfast in the country’s governance process,” he noted.

Mr. Barnes called on Government to address the issues of “salary disparity and selective justice.”

He emphasized:” Liberia now needs leaders who will not protect their friends and family members when they are found guilty of corrupt practices.”

The former Liberian Ambassador spoke following a one day film festival organized by the Liberia Film Institute in Monrovia.
