(elbcradio.com/June 25, 2015)-Grand Bassa County Superintendent, Etweda Cooper, says the Liberian Government will shortly open the first County Service Center (CSC) in the county’s Capital, Buchanan.

She said the Center, when opened, will hold the sub-offices of Government's Ministries and Agencies.

Superintendent Cooper then named the Ministries as Commerce, Transport, Internal Affairs, Labor, Health and Social Welfare, among others.

She also said the opening of the Service Center is part of Government's Deconcentration Program. The Grand Bassa County Superintendent spoke to recently in Buchanan City.

Madam Cooper further noted that the Center will reduce the burden of people traveling to Monrovia to do business with the various Ministries and agencies, and will also generate more revenue for the Government.

Superintendent Cooper has, meanwhile, named the provision of medical drugs at hospitals and clinics, additional schools, farms to market roads and human resource development as Grand Bassa County's priorities.-
