We are capacitated to deal with Ebola-Govt

(elbcradio.com/July 6, 2015)-The Liberian Government has said Sit is fully capacitated to deal with any further Ebola outbreak in the Country.

Liberia’s Chief Medical Officer, Francis Kateh, said Liberia now has five testing centers, where it will not have to send specimen abroad for testing.

Dr. Kateh also said: With the support of International partners, the country has adequate ambulances and a helicopter to transport infected persons in the shortest possible time.”

Speaking to ELBC Monday, July 6, 2015, Dr. Kateh also said Liberia has sufficient supply of Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs), such that health workers will no longer recycle them.

Liberia has only two confirmed cases while other individuals are being monitored in Margibi County, the Deputy Health Minister noted .

Dr. Kateh, therefore, wants Liberians remain vigilant and not to panic as the Government is doing everything possible to handle the situation.
