(elbcradio.com/July 9, 2015)-The Liberian Government has endorsed a decision from the Bong County Development Council sitting to pave major streets in Gbarnga.

The Head of the Liberian Government, Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf, endorsed the County Development Council’s decision at a recent meeting with the County Legislative Caucus in Monrovia.

Bong County Legislative Chairman, Henry Yallah, told the Liberia News A (LINA) that President Johnson-Sirleaf also authorized the US$1.8-million allocation to re-start construction works on the Bong County Technical College.

Chairman Yallah also said a team of engineers from the Ministry of Public Works is expected in Gbarnga soon to assess the streets for pavement.

The assessment report will lead to a bidding process and subsequent commencement of the project, he added.
