( 22, 2015)-Liberia’s Chief Executive, Ellen Johnson- Sirleaf says change is always difficult and resisted to achieve, but it is always necessary to improve a situation.

The Liberian President comment comes in the wake of ongoing debates on the Educational Reform Policy proffered by the Government through the Education Ministry.

The Educational Reform Policy is intended to improve the Educational System from “Mess to Best.”

President Johnson-Sirleaf spoke at a one-day Education Stakeholders Conference at the Monrovia City Hall over weekend.

She said: “Though it will take time to achieve the desired goal, it is practical for the Gov’t to start the reform and begin moving it, taking into account all the difficulties in finding a way to resolve such difficulties.

The President called for constructive engagement in making it right, noting: “The Government is searching for the right way to resolving the problem.”

“The Government will work along with private schools across the country to ensure that quality education reaches every child, no matter the facility they are learning in,” the Liberian Leader also told educational stakeholders at the conference.
