(elbcradio.com/July 24, 2015)-President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf says Liberia’s development requires all the citizens’ participation, irrespective of the capacity in which they serve.

President Johnson-Sirleaf said building the country would also requires visionary citizens, leadership ability and commitment to the nation and people.

She made the statement Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the official dedication of the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL)’s Headquarters on Ashmun Street in Monrovia.

The Liberian Leader described the dedicatory ceremony as a historic milestone in fulfillment of Government's steadfast effort to transform the country.

President Johnson-Sirleaf recognized the importance of collaboration and support to the CBL which serves as the custodian of public resources.

The President stressed: “The growth of Liberia’s economy and the fulfillment of expectations come from the collective determination and action by the citizens and entities charged with the responsibility of attaining targeted national goals.

The Liberian Chief Executive, apparently overwhelmed by the completion of the CBL during her administration, noted: “The bank brings Liberia on par with other central banks in the sub-region.”
