(elbcradio.com/August 3, 2015)-The Liberian Government says it is prepared to employ 91 graduates of the Tubman National Institute of Medicals Arts (TINA).

Senate Chair on Health, Peter Coleman, made the confirmation over the weekend at the 60th graduation exercises of the TNIMA in Monrovia.

Senator Coleman said: “Government’s decision is meant to address the huge unemployment challenge, especially for professionals in Liberia.”

In a related development, the Liberian Government says it has also earmarked another four thousand health professionals to be considered for possible employment.

The Grand Kru County Senator, called on the Government to provide attractive salaries and incentives for health workers throughout the country.

In remarks, JFK General Administrator, Wennie Scott-McDonald, re-echoed calls for the employment of TNIMA graduates without any precondition.

Dr. McDonald’s call followed government’s earlier pronouncement that it has already decided to employ TNIMA graduates after sitting the State Board Test.
