(elbcradio.com/Aug. 5, 2015)-The President of the In God We Trust (IGWT) Multi-Purpose Organization, Saye Baye, says the entity intends creating financial sustainability for its members across the country.

Mr. Baye said the financial sustainability scheme is aimed at empowering the organization’s members to have access to affordable financial services.

He also said in furtherance of its service improvement objective, the entity has included Western Union, Money Grant and Mobile money in its plan to afford its members easy access to money delivery across Liberia.

“These services are to raise more interests for you and to serve you closer to your homes to save you from spending transportation to go far places to get such services, but you are not fully utilizing this opportunity,” Mr. Baye said.

Mr. Baye made the statement recently at the first quarterly meeting of the In God We Trust Multi-Purpose Organization in Gardnersville, suburb of the Liberian Capital, Monrovia.

He then urged members of the organization to utilize the services being provided them to improve their social wellbeing.

Mr. Baye said: “We are making all these efforts to empower our people and to transform their lives. We do not measure our success in terms of how many dollars we generate annually, but how many of our members’ lives have been transformed.”

“Many of our members have moved from one stage to the next in life, from waiter markets to shops, small stores to stores, rented houses to property owners,” the organization’s Boss said.

During the first quarterly meeting, Mr. Baye mentioned the first half of 2015 operation interest rates.

He noted: “In the weekly savings, 3% in Liberian Dollars and 5% in United States Dollars were realized, while in the monthly savings, 12% in Liberian Dollars and 5% in United States Dollars were also realized.”

“Also in United States Dollar credit, 10% and the Liberian Dollar credits hit 31%.
