(elbcradio.com/Aug. 7, 2015)-Vice President, Joseph Boakai, is urging Liberians to take advantage of the Internet Exchange Point to show-case the country’s rich cultural heritage, identity and diversity.

VP Boakai also wants Liberians use the internet service as an open door to the world where young people can enhance their learning and broaden their knowledge on the Information Super Highway.

He said the Liberian Government is making effort to enable its citizens and other users gain access to the different services online.

The Vice President made the statement Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the commissioning ceremony of the Internet Exchange Point at the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications in Monrovia.

The commissioning of the Internet Exchange Point now makes Liberia one of the first ten nations that have taken practical steps in establishing its internet exchange point with support from the African Union (AU).
