(elbcradio.com/August 10, 2015)-The United Nations Development Program (UNDP) has turned over 167 sets of uniforms and accessories to the Bureau of Immigration (BIN).

According to the Liberia News Agency (LINA), the uniforms and accessories are intended for use by the BIN Border Patrol Unit.

The items include pants, shirts, boots, berets, belts, socks, handcuffs, among others, and were made available by the UNDP Peace Building Fund.

Handing over the items to the Bureau Thursday, August 6, 2015, a UNDP official, Nessie Gould, assured the UN Agency’s continued commitment to strengthening the capacity of BIN.

BIN’s Deputy Commissioner for Administration, Danny Sartee, and the Director of the Border Patrol Unit, Wilson Garpeh, received the sets of uniforms and accessories for the Bureau.

Colonels Sartee and Garpeh then thanked UNDP for its continued support to the BIN and promised to utilize the items properly.
