(elbcradio.com/August 13, 2015)-The National Civil Society Consortium on Natural Resource Management and some members of the Legislature have concluded a one-day joint field visit to Gbarnga, Bong County.

The Coordinator of the National Consortium on Natural Resource Management, Jackson Speare, said the joint filed visit was intended to ascertain how properly finances from the natural resource sector are being managed at the county level.

Mr. Speare told our Bong County correspondent that they are investigating the usage of the County social development funds, intended to organize a policy dialogue on challenges the usage of the funds are being faced with.

He said the National Civil Society Consortium on Natural Resource Management will be making a comprehensive report on its finding from counties they have visited.
