(elbcradio.com/Aug. 20, 2015)-The Liberia Agency for Community Empowerment (LACE) has described as laudable, President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf’s infrastructural development drive since her ascendancy in 2006.

LACE Board Chairman, Peter Kamei, said development projects implemented across the Country, in line with President Johnson-Sirleaf’s deliverables, were significantly impacting the lives of locals.

Mr. Kamei said: “Commuters are now traveling to and from the hinterland with ease, because of the construction and rehabilitation of roads across the country.

He made specific reference to the Monrovia-Ganta, and Buchanan highways and the provision of other basic social services by the Liberian Government.

The LACE Board Chairman was speaking to reporters over the weekend in Cheesemanburg Township, Montserrado County.

Mr. Kamei and other Board members had gone to Cheesemanburg Township for a two-day assessment tour of Legislative-Support Projects in three counties, including Montserrado, Margibi and Bomi.

The Legislative-Support Projects include the construction of market buildings, roads, bridges, box culverts, town-halls, school buildings, modern public latrines, among others.

They are being funded by the Liberian Government and implemented by LACE.
