from BBC

(elbcradio.com/Aug. 31, 2015)-Nigeria’s Intelligence Agency has warned of a possible attack on the airport in the country’s Capital, Abuja, after disrupting a Boko Haram cell.

Authorities said a 14 year-old boy had been arrested for spying on security procedures at the airport. Security forces are working to prevent any possible attack and to ensure adequate security at the airports in response.

The Intelligence Agency gave the warning Friday, August 28, 2015, following the arrest of the teenager. Agents are still searching for militants who were directing the little boy, the authorities also said.

Boko Haram has waged a six-year violent campaign in Nigeria, killing thousands of people and forcing millions to flee their homes.

The bloodshed has been largely confined to the country’s northeast, where the group declared an Islamic State.
