(elbcradio.com/Sept. 4, 2015)-The Liberian Government has donated an ambulance to the Liberia Football Association (LFA).

The ambulance was presented to officials of the LFA Tuesday, September 1, 2015 in Monrovia.

The vehicle is to be used by both the local FA and the National Football Team (Lone Star) in handling emergency cases during international home matches.

The well equipped ambulance will begin full operation beginning Saturday, September 5, 2015 when the Lone Star take on the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia.
The game is the second round of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

LFA President, Musa Bility, received the ambulance on behalf of the local football house, and thanked the Government for gesture.

Mr. Bility, who has been appealing for adequate budgetary support to the LFA, said the association’s Medic Department will properly manage the ambulance.
