(elbcradio.com/Sept. 14, 2015)-The Elections Commission of the Liberia Broadcasting System Workers Union says it is committed to peaceful and transparent elections at the entity.

The commission, in a release, said the October elections will usher in a new corps of officers to lead the LBS Workers Union for the next two years.

The LBS Workers Union Election Commission Chairman, Lawrence Kordorwalee, said the Commission has developed inclusive and useful guidelines for the exercise, already in full gear.

The release quotes Mr. Kordorwalee as encouraging all contesting parties to act in accordance with the guidelines throughout the electoral processes.

He said strict adherence to the guidelines will enable both the Commission and contesting parties work in concert to achieve the desired goal.

At the same time, the LBS Workers Union Election Commission is strongly warning against violation of the guidelines
