Prez Sirleaf meets with German Chancellor

(elbcradio.com/Sept. 18, 2015)-President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf has departed Liberia for Berlin, Germany to participate in series of meetings with the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel.

She will also meet with other women leaders in the country and her discussion with them will focus on improvement in the health systems in Liberia.

According to an Executive Mansion release, the Liberian Leader will then head to New York, to hold other meetings at the UN General Assembly.

The release said the Liberian President is being accompanied by Deputy Minister of Health for Planning & Research, Yah Zolia.

The Pastor of the Christ Kingdom Harvest Church Orphanage, Ophelia Charity, is also traveling along with the President.

The presidential delegation, headed by Foreign Minister, Augustine Ngafuan, will join President Sirleaf in New York.

Meanwhile, Defense Minister, Brownie Samukai, will chair the Cabinet, in consultation with Vice President, Joseph Boakai.
