LBS Workers go to the poll October

(elbcradio.com/Sept. 19, 2015)-The Liberia Broadcasting System Workers Union’s Ad-Hoc Elections Commission says it is committed to peaceful and transparent elections at the entity.

The Commission’s Chairman, Lawrence Kordorwalee, said the October elections will usher in a new corps of officers to lead the LBS Workers Union for the next two years.

Chairman Kordorwalee also said the electoral body has developed inclusive and useful guidelines for the exercise.

Mr. Kordorwalee also said strict adherence to the election guidelines will enable both the Commission and contesting parties work together to achieve the anticipated objectives.

Contestants include Joseph Koon and Moses Dorbor for Presidency, Alfred Rogers and Ernest Tamba for the Vice Presidency.

Others are Kolubah Zayzay and Joseph Sayon for Secretary General, and Florence Porteah, the lone candidate for  the Treasurer post.
