Nigerian teachers deployment across Liberia set-Edu official

(elbcradio.com/Sept. 28, 2015)-Assistant Education Minister for Basic and Secondary Education says “all is now set” for the deployment of 33 Nigerian teachers to secondary public schools in seven counties.

Felecia Doe Sumah said the Nigerian instructors will specifically teach Science courses in Maryland, Sinoe, Nimba, Grand Kru, Rivercess, Montserrado, Margibi, and Bong Counties.

Assistant Minister Sumah made the statement recently at the Information Ministry’s press briefing at the ministry in Monrovia.

According to Ms. Sumah, the assignment of the Nigerian teachers is a further manifestation of the cordial bilateral ties between Liberia and Nigeria.

She also said some of the teachers will be assigned at the Barclayville Central High, Sinoe Multilateral High, Pleebo High School, and Sass Town High School.

Others will be assigned at the Buutuo Central High, Bopolu Central High, and a school in Montserrado to be identified.-
