Liberia needs more entrepreneurs -Kemayah

(elbcradio.com/Oct. 5, 2015)-A Liberian entrepreneur says the country needs more social entrepreneurs to identify crucial societal priorities.

According to the Liberia Business Association (LBA) President, Maxwell Kemayah, such social entrepreneurs should take strategic actions to address needs.

Mr. Kemayah said social entrepreneurs are result-oriented driven to produce measurable returns.

“Such results transform existing realities and create new pathways for marginalized and disadvantaged people,” he also noted.
Mr. Kemayah made the statement recently in California, USA, when he served as keynote speaker at the 4th Annual Summit of the Young E’nnovative Leaders of Liberia (YELL).

At the same time, the LIBA President has described the Central Bank of Liberia (CBL) as the chief regulatory financial institution of the Government that is continuously exerting immense efforts to transform thousands of citizens’ lives.

Mr. Kemayah said the vision of the Microfinance Unit of the Bankis to empower Liberians through its inclusion and affordable loan schemes.
