Somalia Drive residents want added time for their relocation

Baysah Kollie

(elbcradio.com/Oct. 5, 2015)-Residents of the Plank-field Community in Paynesville are calling on the Liberian Government to allot them additional time to re-locate themselves.

A resident of the area, Emmanuel Richards, said: “We are willing to be relocated, but some of us are still finding it difficult to do so in line with the mandate.”

“Residents of the Plank field are fully in support of the rehabilitation of the Somalia Drive; something that will immensely contribute to the smooth movement of traffic in the area,” Mr. Richards also said.

The road rehabilitation project, expected to start shortly, is being sponsored by the Japanese Government.-
