(elbcradio.com/Oct. 22, 2015)-UNFPA Resident Representative, Oluremi Sogunro, says the issue of Fistula is becoming alarming in Liberia.

Dr. Sogunro wants more collaborative efforts to tackle the issue of Fistula to avoid the disease from undermining the learning process of Liberian girls.

He said the UNFPA will be more vigorous in collaborating with the Liberian Government to remedying the situation.

The UN Agency Boss made the assertion Thursday when his organization donated a Toyota land Cruiser Jeep to the department of School Health at the Education Ministry.

The Director of School Health at the Ministry of Education, Olivia Kendrixes, lauded UNFPA for the initiative and called for more collaborative efforts to eradicate Fistula from Liberia.
