(elbcradio.com/Nov.6, 2015)-The Liberian Government has signed a US$200,000.00 contract with a local firm for the construction of a new National Culture Center.

The Information Ministry and the Link Agriculture Constructor and Consultant Incorporated signed the contract recently in Monrovia.

According to a release, the company will initially fence the entire 52 acres of land earmarked for the project and clear at least 30 acres of the land for actual construction in Ben Town, Margibi County.

The release says, under the agreement, the next phase will give way to the construction of pre-fabricated buildings to be situated at 15 separate sites, in line with the Culture Center’s master layout.

The Agreement mandates the contractor to pre-finance the work, among other things, in collaboration with the Information Ministry’s Project Management Team and the Public Works Ministry.

The project is to last for five months, the release added.
