(elbcradio.com/Nov. 11, 2015)-Vice President, Joseph Boakai, has extolled the U.S.-based Liberian Nursing Association for the delivery of medical supplies to major health facilities in the country.

The medical supplies, worth more than US$50,000.00, will be distributed to the Ganta United Methodist, Redemption, John F. Kennedy Hospitals and Chief Jallah Lone Health Center.

Vice President Boakai called on Liberian organizations in the Diaspora to work along with organizations in Liberia to get first-hand information to identify the needs of the Liberian people.

He said it was the duty of the Government to work along with Liberians in the Diaspora to ensure that supplies brought in the country benefit the citizenry.
