National County Meet: More actions at 4 venues

(elbcradio.com/Dec. 14, 2015)-The 2015/2016 National County Meet continues  December 15, 2015 at four venues across Liberia.

The National County Meet, playing under the theme, “Liberia Rising through Sports,” brings together Liberia’s 15 counties. According to the fixture, Bong County will take on River Gee in both football and kickball matches.

The show down takes place at the Doris Williams Sports Stadium in the port city of Buchanan in Grand Bassa County. Also at the same venue, Sinoe County will play Grand Bassa County in the same events.

In Sanniquellie, Nimba County, Bomi County will face Maryland County, and Grand Cape Mount County will face Nimba County Tuesday.

Rivercess and Lofa Counties will meet in Zwedru, Grand Gedeh County, while Grand Kru County is scheduled to sought things out with Grand Gedeh County.

Likewise in Kakata, Margibi County, the high-flying Montserrado County will battle rejuvenated Gbarpolu County on the same day.  Meanwhile, Bong County hammered defending Champions, Grand Bassa County with double defeats over the weekend.

Bong County defeated their Grand Bassa County counterparts 2 – o in football and 5 – 2 Innes in both football and kickball, respectively. Margibi County went down to Montserrado County 1 – 3 in football and also lost to Montserrado County 4 – 7 Innes.

Lofa County collected a 1 – 0 victory over Grand Gedeh in football, but Lofa County, on the other hand, lost to Grand Gedeh 8 – 15 Innes in Kickball.

Nimba and Maryland Counties settled to a One-All draw in football, but Nimba County won their Maryland counterparts 11 – 4 Innes in Kickball.

Grand Kru and Rivercess also played to a goalless draw in football, while little Bomi County beat Grand Cape Mount County 2 – 1 also in football and River Gee County defeated Sinoe County 1 – 0.
